After almost six months of Central regional division two zonal league, 16 teams made it to the middle league. These 16 teams were divided into four groups of four for the prestigious middle league.

At the end of one week of four groups of four which the teams played in a round robin format, four (4) teams have booked their place in the semi finals. In Group A, Betenase conquered their group to book a place in the semis. Cheetah as their name suggests, were so fast in climbing their table that, no other team from their zone could catch up with them.

Kenpong impressively topped their group with 100% record, winning all their matches to amass 9 points. In group B, GAP and Ali Royals were unseparated after the group matches, after they both recorded two wins over the other two teams and drew themselves, giving them 7 points apiece and needed a one off play off to separate the men between them. The game ended 1 all after 90 minutes.

They were then separated on the lottery of spot kicks, where GAP won 6:5 after Ali Royals goalkeeper missed his kick.
The semi finals continues tomorrow at Aduyaw Assasane Park, at Ajumako.

The pairings are;

Semi Final 1
CHEETAH VRS BETENASE

Semi Final 2
GAP VRS KENPONG
