The Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party in Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency, Honourable Emmanuel Adjei Domson and his campaign team on Sunday, 16th August, 2020 paid a courtesy visit to Chiefs, Elders, opinion leaders and constituents of Breman Jamra community.Upon arrival, Honourable Adjei Domson first paid a courtesy visit to the Gyasehene of Breman Jamra at the Chief’s palace where he officially introduced himself to Nana Kwesi Amin lll, the Gyasehene and his Sub Chiefs of Breman Jamra.
At the Chief’s Palace, Hon. Adjei Domson humbly introduced himself as the newly elected Parliamentary Candidate for the new Patriotic Party in the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Constituency who is the right person to represent the constituency in Parliament come January 2021 in order to help lobby for more developmental projects for the constituency.
As part of his introduction, Hon. Adjei Domson reminded the Chiefs and custodians of Breman Jamra about his developmental projects he saw to their construction to develop the community during his tenure in office as DCE such as the construction of Jamra Roman Catholic Basic & JHS, Methodist JHS, Renovating and roofing Jamra Community Center, provision of tools and equipments to Artisans in Breman Jamra among other projects.
He went further to preach the good works of President Akufo-Addo for his outstanding performance during his first term in office as head of state. He then pleaded with the Chiefs to support him and Nana Akufo-Addo to maintain the seat for NPP in order to bring more development to the Constituency when elected as MP.
The Gyasehene of Breman Jamra, Nana Kwesi Anim lll also made his grievances known to Hon. Adjei Domson to see to their implementation when elected as the member of parliament come December 7th.
He advised Hon. Adjei Domson to stay focused and work hard to win this election and bring more development into the District as he did when he was the DCE.
Speaking at the durbar grounds, Hon. Adjei Domson assured the good people of Breman Jamra that, when elected as the member of parliament, he will build a Senior High School in Breman Jamra to be called “JASEC” to help speed up development in the town and its environs.
Hon. Adjei Domson when explaining his vision to site a senior high school at Breman Jamra, he explained clearly that, Jamra is gradually developing and establishing a senior high school in the community will speed up development in the suburb villages as well. He said, the senior high school when sited in Jamra will pave way for other institutions to be established.
He went further to explain that, the construction of the senior high school will provide jobs to Maisons, carpenters, plumbers, painters, electricians and other artisans from Breman Jamra and the District at large.
Hon. Adjei Domson appealed to the Chiefs and elders present at the durbar grounds to provide a suitable land along the road side for this project.
Hon. Adjei Domson assured the good people of Jamra that, if he was able to establish a senior high school at Breman Brakwa in 2006 during his tenure in office as the DCE, then they should have hope in him that he can do same for them. He appealed to them to vote massively for him and Prez Akufo-Addo inorder to able to implement all his visions for Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District.
The former DCE and now Parliamentary Candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party in Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency donated 40 bags of cement to Breman Jamra community to help in the renovation of their community center and other developmental projects.
Hon. Adjei Domson’s vision is to expand the frontiers of the district to municipality level with increased access to cutting edge development of the district and restore the dwindling fortunes of the district, then empower the inhabitants of the district and bring direct foreign investment to the district.
